Lesley Ann Brandt was born in Cape Town in South Africa on December 2, 1981. She is an actress/model best known for appearing on screen and television. Her acting career began through The New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came through her subsequent role of Naevia in the drama about historical events Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared on many television series during the past 10 years, such as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Since 2016 Brandt has played the character that of Mazikeen in the urban fantasy series Lucifer starring Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was brought up in Cape Town South Africa and after that, she moved to Auckland New Zealand with her family in her late teens Her first job was as a model by appearing in advertisements, commercials and printed ads. Before she became a renowned model, Brandt was an employee of a salesperson in retail and a recruitment consultant for information technology. In 2009, she landed her first part as Leilani in the New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. Then, in 2021 she made her first major appearance in Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She portrayed the role of slave girl Naevia. In the miniseries Spartacus Gods of the Arena She reprised her role of Naevia. The actress co-starred with the actor Craig Parker in three different show on television: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she was cast to portray a bounty hunter demon dubbed Mazikeen in the Netflix series Lucifer. The role is her most prominent to date. On the show, she plays alongside Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
